Cool project. After paint and all its hard to tell the add ons. Some food for thought, sometimes if you go to a thrift store you can find patterned scarfs or fabric in like a green/brown/camo style and if you just cut up a few pieces you can use them as a wrap which in the real world reduces gloss/reflections and adds depth for extra effect to camo. In the prop world it is also perfect to tie around the top of a fabricated scope mount or stock extension to hide seams or zip ties. Dont get me wrong, like I said they are hard to see after the paint job.

For sure! Thanks for the advice that’s a solid idea I’m gonna have to try out! 👍

@@rocketcoffinstudios I certainly can not claim its my idea as I have sen it used by others, just a cool trick in my opinion.

You should have elongated the battery cables to put an actual buffer tube on the back (with the battery cables running through it) so you can extend the stock to your size. You can even still do that - would only need to paint the tube to match (and if it doesn't exactly match, hey, it's just "the inner tube - small wonder it's painted differently!"=

Ok, take 2! Oh my brother, looks as if you had a Bob Ross "happy little accident" Super funny after chatting with you about it;) Laughed my ass off when you told me. Yeah, I got a little more insight and details on this version with narration but I gotta say, really liked the no narration version more. A little more tranquil. A little more Zen. And maybe that's just me. Loved both as always. Stay safe and keep me laughing my friend. Always got your back brother

Thank you brother! Yea I’m kinda thinking I might start doing longer like Timelapse vids with music and then shorter ones with the voice over, since the voice over can make some of the visuals redundant it doesn’t need to be as long.

now with voiceover!

Yeaaaaaaaaa I uploaded the wrong one earlier 😂 I didn’t catch it at first. I was mad dude I spent like 2 hours this morning doing the voiceover and some minor tweaks to the video. Thanks for coming back tho!

@@rocketcoffinstudios you're good lol, I love listening to your thought process as I'm just recently getting into "artsy" stuff (when I was in elementary or middle school my older sister was always "better" therefore got all the equipment so I was discouraged from doing something "girly" like arts and crafts)

Gotcha! Well I’m happy to help my friend! There will definitely be more paint job tutorials and I plan to do full cosplay build type vids in the future

You should totally leave up the video with no narration. See what your viewers gravitate to.
