Just got into this as well. I am blown away with how different ammo reacts to the this firearm. I am still trying what I can find at the moment but so far it like the Midas+ of course $$$$. . But the 22LR CZ is way too fun to shoot.

I grabbed a couple and love them. I prefer foam down, but found I needed to add a layer of masking tape over the foam to keep the cases from sticking to it and flinging out when the lid is opened (very simple fix).

Hi Sonny. I'm so glad you like the cases! If you haven't yet, definitely try having the foam facing up. The foam should lightly stick to the lid of the case so it's easier to open and close.

@@agsprecision7295 Yeah, that approach works too 👍 With the foam up, the cases make just the tiniest rattle when you jiggle the case (and that's absolutely fine - doesn't hurt anything at all). I'd rather them be completely still/silent, though, so I prefer the foam down.

@@agsprecision7295 I just bought this and love it. I noticed it has finger cutout on the left and right side. It would be better to have them on the top and bottom of each section to make it easier to pull out a single tray.

I see no advantage over just taking the carrier out of its box. However, if you put some foam under the carriers to lift up the cartridges slightly to make cartridges easier to take out of the carrier - that would be a great advantage! I’d buy this product immediately if the design were perfected to allow raised cartridges.

Did you not see the entire vid? At about 5:45 it shows using the foam from the top and putting it on the bottom.

This is one product that begs a posting of Caveat Emptor for the AGS Precision fellow. He treats himself to overly generous charges for postage then uses the least expensive postal service (i.e., full price small flat rate fee for each insert and dispatched them parcel) and when I questioned the answer was I have to pay for tape. As a user of the Neal Waltz uniforming die I'll stick to the MTM 22lr holders

i’m just not seeing the benefit of repackaging 22 boxes. if they were to get damaged tips then that would most likely happen during shipping and handling in their factory boxes. also, sliding the tray out of the box lets you select 5 rounds at a time to dump in your hand for easy loading. maybe i’m missing something…

In benchrest it's very common to single load for each shot. We often use different methods for holding the ammo to make this easier. It's purely a convenience thing. This adds some protection and convenience.

Hi Garet. We've did some testing by dropping the standard carboard/plastic factory boxes from pretty low heights and the tips do get damaged. I'm guessing the freight company is extra careful when they see that explosive sticker on the box. The trip to the range is the only part you have control over so make it count :)
