Matt’s diet is amazing: potato chips, cheese sticks, red licorice, and Mountain Dew. Breakfast of Champions! You do get a sense for the kind of guy Paul is. He’s got all these people in his shop, talking on his video and he’s pretty cool. I almost shed a tear watching the 80 fender get cut. The ‘97 is the best year for the LC platform hands down. LOVE the video!!! Last of the straight axles. The Birfields can handle 37’s. The transmission is overbuilt. I’m not in love with the 14 rubber coolant hoses though.

Hey guys. Love the video. My best rock sliders have always always been 2 inch body lift and then welding nerf bars straight to the frame. @@robertservice2845 I know the fuel consumption is scary, but you spend very little on maintenance. I bought my 80 10 years ago for $6500 with 135 000 miles on it. I could have spent way more to get something more economical, but I though that I would never recoup the extra cash. I just never look at the bill when fill it from empty (43 gallons).
