You are the only KZbin channel I have subscribed to for that very reason. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Good video showing some of everything. I've gotten to where I can see the laser pretty well now. I was looking for the wrong thing. for starters it is green not red. I was looking for what you think of as a sharp line, but when it is running all over the bark its pretty rough, and it isn't always straight since the log is not usually uniform in diameter. Still a little hard to pickup on a sawn corner, but It is getting easier to see. Keep up the good work.

Nice to see your take on custom sawing mark, don't think I've seen you do it before. I know it can be done with a band mill, some people will also charge by the hour on some jobs rather than footage. Circle mills are great, but they need to be respected. You do not want to get in the way of that blade, or anything it may grab and throw. Seen that happen.

Great job guys 👍 I think that whenever you get the chance, you should be sawing timber that you can use to extend the building out over the area where you rip the boards and over the front end loader so all you have to buy is the trusses and roof iron! You could even make your own trusses! Just a thought!👍

I've been around several bandsaws. I have to say, you guys are great, and I am constantly learning more, I'm now 50 years of age. Keep up the great work. I do have a question. Instead of letting chewy do the work of turning the logs sometimes 3 times, have you ever tried to turn the log back with the dogs?

Are you able to tell before you mill a log if it has wind/ ring shake? I have seen it called both. I chainsaw milled 4 hickory logs, the 4th log just about shattered into pieces when I milled it. I'd love to get a few pieces of that maple that's some nice-looking boards. I see Mr. Lazer and figured the thickness wheel out a while back. Good stuff keep it up.

Question, how much timber would you get out of a log if you turned it before each cut ie 90 degrees

You should have a conveyor at the end of the scrap cutter to carry the wood up and into a pile so it's out of the way

@mark galicic if you can't find a cheap conveyor, I'm sure you can make your own and tie it in with the rest of your machineries workings. Might be more sentimental to build your own. I know it'll more than likely look cooler

Sometimes I can see the laser; other times, not so much. Mark says he can see it, so that is all that counts.
