We've finished our Blue/Grey Sprinter build and have been out traveling for the better part of a year, but we just had to come over to your channel and check out the progress. We'll probably not install a rocker locker, but we still love your videos. They are so clever and fun to watch. If we do decide to add locker, we'll know who to contact. Keep making great videos. We send folks to your channel all the time because your DIY videos are the best! Cheers, Kristina & Matt

That sounds like the dream! Progress has been slow as we’ve been ramping up the parts we offer that’s been taking a lot of time away from the van build but also helping to support the expense 😅. I’m probably planning on filming a bit less and just finishing up to get things ready for the spring time. Hopefully the weather cooperates this year last year every weekend it rained from November to March. Was sunny during the week while I had to go to work of course…. 🙄 Where have you been traveling and what are some of your favorite spots so far? Thanks again for the continued support and sending people our way!

@@moonrakerdesign We understand the challenges of weather and van builds. After selling our first van, a 136 Promaster, we purchased a new 2022 Sprinter. We had waited for months for a Transit Trail we ordered, but finally threw in the towel and found a Sprinter in the next town over. Phew! That was a fortunate moment for us. We bought the Sprinter in October, which meant a winter van build in Colorado at 7500ft - no heated garage or workshop, and the van doesn’t fit in the garage. Matt finished it enough for us to travel to Texas for the Solar Eclipse this April. From there, we traveled through the desert SW and then up to the Oregon Coast. We just returned from a nearly three-month trip to the Eastern Sierra, a return to the Oregon coast, as well as to Glacier NP and the Badlands, to name a few. We love exploring our country, but there is a special place in our hearts for Baja and mainland Mexico. We were new to KZbin and van life then, and still figuring things out. We still go back and watch those videos - pure magic. You can find all of our travels on our channel. Thanks for continuing the conversation. Your videos helped us in many ways. Even though we’re done with our Sprinter build, I always get a laugh from your clever videos. I hope you continue making videos once you’re out in your van. ~ Kristina

This is way better design and product than what’s out there. The raptor liner would be a great addition. Maybe an LED light as well.

Exactly, spray hoses, air hose, recovery gear! All the things that don't really store well inside the van!

Hey Jay, thanks for the comment and the encouragement! Thinking about doing a small run. I think I want to switch to an actual template trying to make it so it’s super easy and foolproof to install because it’s actually a lot of measuring and positioning to get it right at the moment. Please make these for the 170! I love that they are clean with no visible studs (you excepted of course) or branding.
@moonrakerdesign3 ай бұрын
lol! 😂. I have to get to commercialized for 144 first, but yes this is my long term plan. It’s quite a bit different building one set for my van and giving people enough of a product/instructions they can do it themselves.
@tullynation3 ай бұрын
@@moonrakerdesign You already have the video tutorial (instructions) made! So 1/10th of the way there! I'm keeping my fingers crossed it works out for you (read: me) though, and won't be installing any existing boxes until I can get by hands on the Moonrakers! Please don't delay: I need a place to stash full doggy poop bags when I head home from the trails! Until then, I'll continue to stick them under the windshield wiper... but man, that can get dicey when the automatic rain sensor kicks in...
@moonrakerdesign3 ай бұрын
@@tullynation I wish it was that easy :) But thank you for the support and encouragement. Actually the doggy poop bags is a pretty good use case for it actually! Never even thought of that. On my drivers side I put the shore power in there so the cable and the plug fit in there perfectly.
