One I remember from a few months ago, someone with what I'd call a mid-size car, Toyota Prius from memory, complained it was riding low in the back and slow to accelerate. Mechanic opens boot and finds like like 11, new full bags of cement/concrete in the boot/trunk. Yes folks often need to carry some home repair supplies in a car, if they don't own a van or bakkie, but how can you forget you've got a quarter or half a tonne of concrete supplies in the boot of a hatchback car !

People who leave burritos under their gas pedal for one. 😂 I just vacuumed mine today and all it had was a few crumbs from some crackers I was noshing on yesterday and a stray pumpkin seed that ended up under my seat from a couple days ago but just knowing they were there drove me nuts. I just can't fathom how some people are comfortable living with that filth everyday. Their homes are probably the same or worse. Some people need to know what they don't know. I've had people call me and ask for help on something that I have never done before. I did some research and told them what I learned. I've installed multiple head units and stereo systems over the years. I've never done it professionally, but I've always done it right. I once did an install for a co worker and he stopped at a local audio shop to see about buying additional equipment. They went out to see his car and when they they did they asked who did the install. He told them, "My buddy from work did it." They asked if I had my own audio shop and he laughed and told them I did it at my house after work one day. They complimented the cleanness of the install and told him he had the right guy doing his work. I've only gotten better and cleaner since then and I've still never done it professionally. The amount of trash installs I have dealt with fixing on friend's and family members cars is astounding. I've see twisted together wires with no protection, but I have never seen band aids.

There is no reason not to install a stereo system correctly. It is not that difficult. If you do have to cut wires, fix them correctly, the first time. I've done several of my own vehicles over the years, and for a few friends. Some turned out better than others.
