I did the cattle bell gag to a friend atleast 12 years ago. He came by 2 days later and asked if i had put a cattle bell under his truck. Ofcourse i replied, he chuckled and said i guess my truck has a cattle bell. A few weeks later he called laughing, he went by another friends house. They had horses, and the field they were kept in ran along the drive way. Well they would ring a cattle bell when they fed their horses. So everytime he went over there the horses would run over to the driveway and follow them thinking he had food.

The cowbell reminds me of the dangers of internet purchasing; pretty much *everything* is out there if you have the impulse. A boddy of mine bought a snow-white Silverado and bragged about how solud and rattle-free it was. He detests centipedes, damn near to phobia level. In no time at a supremely affordable price I was able to find 1" diameter black on white centipede magnets. I placed the dozen of them in the bed and on the rocker panels, then added a big ball bearing to the bed to cause him to investigate. He was not amused, but our friends, his wife, and I laughed like hyenas. (I was absolutely certain he wasn't going to spend money before looking himself or appealing for our help first. I learned that by accidentally causing another friend to get his old Impala towed because I'd disconnected his coil wire. I felt like crap and paid the towing bill.)

0:06 I remember a story my dad told me years ago about a rich guy with a Rolls Royce who heard knocking or tapping when he was driving on the open road, after many hours trying to find the noise, they discovered a marble or ball bearing on a string behind the door panel, that swung and tapped against the door when the car was at speed, attached was a note that read something like "Ha ha you rich bastard". Sounds like its one of those stories that, "a friend of a friend knew the guy who found it" :-))
