Can the parchment paper or wet method be used to lay up dtf?

I followed instructions: 3 layers of makers magic and tons of burnishing bit has a terrible time with getting the stars to transfer as well as some of the letter curlicues. A little disappointing but over all looks pretty good. I definitely wouldn’t purchase dtf at least this intricate with my current experience, which includes the red cup from last year.

I had the same experience, with this project and the cup ones from last year. I’m actually kinda afraid to use this years cup ones lol

I agree, I am also not a fan of uv dtf. I took my time, burnished as instructed, went slow, but the stars and thin script did not do well. I had the same trouble with the cup this year. The tip of several stars, the center of the O and the thin curlies of Christmas kept lifting no matter what I tried. I will not be using this product again and hope there are not a lot of these types of projects in the boxes going forward.. I noticed there were many stops in Michael’s video where he got to those areas so he must have had the same difficulties. I wish he would have shown those problem areas and how he overcame them.

I about threw this cutting board across the room. After rubbing it with my scraper for 20 minutes I still can't get the design to come off without it sticking to the backing.

@@lilfear if it’s not sticking, there’s not enough of the makers magic on the cutting board or it wasn’t allowed to fully dry before applying. I hope that helps. ❤️

@mrcraftypants i put 3 layers on and waited at least 45 minutes between each layer...I set a timer...and made sure it was fully covered each time.
