I have something similar to this but it has a small yellow perch. However, it has caught dozens of small mouths and some pan fish. 🎣 Also the ones I get are set up right out of the package 📦. Thank you for the post. Keep 🎣 fishing. ✌ peace...

Cool idea. I just watched this and immediately did a mod but then used another and took it a step farther. I cut the loop a little longer and bent it around the wire a little so it works like a fast snap..
@TheAverageFisherman99 Жыл бұрын
That's also a good idea. I attach mine using the 12lb no knot fas-snaps with the main line, but doing the loop as a snap WOULD make it faster to change jigs on the same L-Arm.
@Reeds.outdoor.adventures Жыл бұрын
@@TheAverageFisherman99 exactly what I was thinking while looking at it. That way it’s a fast change of jigs AND if you hook into a bass it wouldn’t open up

Beetle Spins have been a go to lure for me for years! One of my favorite mods is use one with a tube jig.
@TheAverageFisherman992 жыл бұрын
That works well too. We used to put the blue tubes with white skirts on to catch black crappie. Around here, blue/white and black/chartreuse have always been the most popular tube jig colors.

I have noticed beetle spins turning sideways a little. Good point. I will say beetle spins catch everything so it's a risky mod IMO. Nice cideo

@@TheAverageFisherman99 that's what I like about your channel. That's what my channel started out to be, but people seem to like the tournament news more. I wanted mine to be about tackle and how-to's. My viewership had other intentions.🤣

On beetle spins? The real trick is finding the speed the fish want. If they're actively feeding, a beetlespin will tear em up.
