Thank you for the video. I have had my 2021 Z51 in my hands for 3 days and was not sure the difference between my mode and z mode. I also had the same question as someone else about cold start-ups with the louder exhaust such as z-mode etc. Thanks for the tip about it switching back to tour if you have it set in track. Gotta enjoy that loud startup.

Just watched your Z Mode settings video. It is the absolute best on this subject by far! I have watch everyone on this subject for over a year and yours was amazingly simplified and concise. I ordered a 2022 C8 Coupe Z51 for my wife as a surprise! Should be built on Monday 2/14/22. She hasn't a glue she is getting it. It will be heading to my detailer as soon as I take delivery. Applying PPF and Ceramic. She will think we are going to pick up one of my other cars which will be there. My detailer and I are going to play it up. Her name will be on the personlize name plate in the car. I can't wait to see her face when she sees it. I subscribed to your channel and will check out your other videos! Great job!

I did learn you could test and configure while driving. I thought the car had to be still to change those settings. I have My Mode set as quiet and tame for neighborhoods and ZMode if some guy pulls up and wants to race. Good video

My 2021 HTC rolled into the South Florida dealership on Dec 22 just in time for Christmas. I didn't get the magnetic ride but I'm appreciating all your info especially setting up the Z mode. And agree with you that for only 495HP the car puts all to the ground so efficiently it feels like it's gotta be more HP then advertised! Thanks for the great video.

Please question: If you put the car on Track mode, will it go between V4 & V8 (AFM) or still in V8. I mean track mode While driving in automatic without using shift pedals or put it in manual. Thanks

In mymode there is no powertrain mode like z mode, so what setting is the powertrain for mymode?

After you set the Z mode the way you want is that information stored and stay that way every time you start up the car, or do you have to enter the parameters each time.

I have a couple questions. First, when you start the car, does it always automatically start up in Tour Mode, or My Mode? In other words, if you have it in My Mode, does it always start off in My Mode or does it switch to Tour Mode on it's own when shut down. Second, can you drive on the freeway at 70mph in both Tour and Track in the Powertrain selection? I think you will eliminate 2-3 gears (freeway gears) in Track mode. I think you will always be in a lower gear with higher RPM, which will keep the V4 mode from activating, due to the higher gears. Let me know.

If you leave in My Mode, it starts in My Mode. Same for Sport. If you do track or Z mode it will default back to Tour Mode on start up. No elimination of gears on freeway no matter the powertrain selection. I always am in Manual, so not sure if it bumps down to V4 in track powertrain, doubt it though.

Hi, send me your email address and I will send you some pics of both. Kinda of a long story, but I currently have 2 C8s a black and a torch red. Red one is the one I ordered and it took 470 days to come, black one came available locally so I bought it (thinking I was never going to get the one I ordered). More I looked at black better I liked it, however now that I have the red torch red one, with two tone red/black interior it is my favorite one. Will probably sell black one someday. Thanks..... I have Torch Red Coupe with carbon flash mirrors and spoiler, black interior with red stitching 3LT red bolsters on the g2 seats. I think too much red inside is a negative if the car is Torch Red. Just my opinion. Just picked up a 2017 3LT Grand Sport Black Convertible with yellow calipers. Going too add a couple more outer embellishments in yellow, like maybe a stinger stripe. I think black and yellow is also nice.

I agree with the Torch Red. The Red gets a lot more attention. I get tons of thumbs up and a lot of looks.
