93 Octane and we are around 1000’ ft above sea level.

Did you try 0-60 without launch control. Can it do sub 3’s without?

So after the car was broken in did you change the oil? Or what do you recommend after 800 miles? I hear conflicting stories that you don't have to change the oil after break in and to just do it after 8,000 miles or so. Haven't got my convertible yet but hope it is coming soon. I just don't want to void the warranty if it has to have the oil changed at the right time. Thanks.

I am doing it this coming week at 1500. I don’t think it’s necessary but for less than $100, it gives me peace of mind. Also, I have driven the car fairly hard so want to make sure fluids are fresh as possible.

Don't you think Chevy knows how it's customers drive their Corvettes. They recommend first oil change at 7500 miles so I would say unless you are really abusing the car there is no need to change oil/filter sooner.
