Not NO issues. Depends. You can easily reprogram any 12 to 14 cluster to work with your car. If you want a nice 2016, you'll lose the on screen compass (that's no big deal, just won't show up) but you'll lose the ability to change brightness with the buttons, you'll have to do it with menu options. Otherwise no issuem make sure to get a cluster with lower miles so you can program it to the right milage. You can't roll back the mileage

Do the silver trim pieces just pop off? Or do you have to pull the whole cluster and separate trim surround piece.

The middle one can be removed easily, the outer two can't. I had to mask them off in place.

i would love to see you do something with purple on the gauges i been looking to get purple on mine forever

If any car would benefit from purple gauges, it would be Dijon...we may have to pitch the idea.
