@@UngluckInc that's what's up! That's basically my plan! H-beam rods, stock pistons new rings and bearing. Going to keep the stock valves but upgrade the springs (only bit I don't have yet) just so I can rev a bit more. I currently have the rev limited to 6800 just because I'm scared of valve float. I want to be comfortable at 7500.

The bad O2 sensor and cutting out you mention, is that common? I seem to be running through O2 sensors fairly regularly (three in the last two years) and no one has been able to figure out why the car will just give up mid-pull. We’ve replaced my wastegate actuator thinking that was the problem. The turbo itself doesn’t have a ton of miles (under 10,000) and the internal wastegate still seems good but when it’s deep in a pull it will just release all pressure like the wastegates opening. If it matters I have a fully built bottom end but the head was rebuilt with stock parts at the recommendation of the shop that did the rebuild. Prior to the rebuild it made 458whp on 91. Now it’s making 375whp on E85 and it’s stumping everyone.

How did you guys like the boss750? Considering picking up a used R early 23 as these prices start to drop. Thinking of doing a "low budget" R build with a stock/catted downpipe, stock motor, stage 3 clutch, boss750, MPI, and an LPFP. I once had an IMS710 R with a DQ500, but that was completely unregisterable and it broke axles constantly (and a lot of other shit). Looking to build something more tame, manual, and daily-able. 500ish whp and 420ish torque.
