The bad O2 sensor and cutting out you mention, is that common? I seem to be running through O2 sensors fairly regularly (three in the last two years) and no one has been able to figure out why the car will just give up mid-pull. We’ve replaced my wastegate actuator thinking that was the problem. The turbo itself doesn’t have a ton of miles (under 10,000) and the internal wastegate still seems good but when it’s deep in a pull it will just release all pressure like the wastegates opening. If it matters I have a fully built bottom end but the head was rebuilt with stock parts at the recommendation of the shop that did the rebuild. Prior to the rebuild it made 458whp on 91. Now it’s making 375whp on E85 and it’s stumping everyone.
