Yep, that's a good gluing job. Nice layers, no thick glue ridges/stripes. On a side note, when attaching the rubber, some people bend back the sheet - this will also stretch the rubber. Keep it as much to horizontal as possible if you want 0 stretch. Some rubbers benefit from being stretched, some don't. For example Yasaka Rakza 7 2.0mm (regular) benefits a lot from being a bit stretched. Also when placing the rubber at the base of the handle, some people slide fingers to the sides, and this stretches the rubber at the handle, and so the shape becomes more conic rather than a square(not a good idea).

I've been using an xacto knife to trim rubber but your tip of the OLFA (and black blades) is a keeper. TY for ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS ... they are excellent and truly. helpful.

I am planning on getting a bat from you. Do you normally use a hair dryer when making people bats

Quite often yes, especially in colder weather. We have been using this process over 20 years and in our opinion doesn’t have any down sides. It’s just gentle heat to help the glue get tacky. You are always welcome to add a special request in the customer notes 😊

If you have limited time or if you want to speed up the process you can use it but on cold air mode. If used on hot air mode the rubber might get softened of even melted, happened to my friend so be careful!
