This is so accurate it's scary good. The falling/tripping into the lead's arms, the male lead being Canadian, the black actor that is a side character only... it's in every Hallmark movie.

@DragonChild460 😂😂Oddly specific detail to pick up on & get irritated by, but yes! And guess what folks? Everyone of our white main leads has an infinite amount of money to travel across the country last minute for plot plotting 🙃. And if the lead is "relatable" by claiming to have money problems (yeah, unh huh), just take a look at all the extravagant Christmas decorations and multiple rooms in their homes. Why, that level of struggle is a goal we should all strive for 😌

How dare you not mention the fact that the Christmas parade won't get off the ground without Amy using the skills she learned in the big city, Amy's dad's simple carpentry skills, and the whole town pitching in, including that stud Bryce from high school Amy dismissed but now finds appealing. Bryce has a daughter.

Yep, the painting the guy as a villain because he works hard. Meanwhile they don't give you enough context as to what type of job she has. So, you're left with trying to force yourself into into feeling empathy for her character even when she may have no authority to speak on anyone's work ethic. At least tell me she has a job as X with X hours, but she chooses to tell them to stuff as she wants a life. Then I can relate vs just seeing her as yet another lazily written female love interest.

Simon James Also, if you pay close attention you will notice the fake sheets of snow covering the landscapes to make it look snowed in! Plus, it always starts snowing during a kiss or joyful moment on cue! It's hilarious... Not to mention the advertising they do for their sponsors...last year a canister of Folger's coffee got more air time than Lacey or Mariah on, "A Christmas Melody." This year it was Balsam Hill on almost every movie! I can't deny as cheesy, repetitive, and recycled as Hallmark movie's are they're my guilty pleasure! Lol

God, if I had a nickel for every "Engaged/Committed city girl goes to the country due to an unexpected family emergency and falls in love with a country boy she just met, dumping the fiance/boyfriend for him" movie Hallmark and Lifetime play every December... At least there was one original movie a few years ago where a married woman, pining after her rich ex-boyfriend, actually does get her wish and wakes up married to the ex... and then she realizes after 5 minutes that she made a huge mistake and spends the rest of the movie stalking her actual husband, who's dating someone else in this reality.

Especially since Franco was killing it as "Prince Santa". "Bring my reindeer around," said into a cellphone, no less (Prince Santa definitely modernizes). Does that also mean that Prince Santa is a serial monogamous? What does he do with the former wives? I see a sequel (or perhaps prequel) made for these films over on say A&E or Crime Channel where it shows Prince Santa as a serial killer of his wives, and his elves are his conspirators. It would be entitled, "Bad Killer Santa" (and also starring Franco).

It's not from poor planning. They test out a spare sketch or two that they're on the fence about during the dress rehearsals (in front of an audience too) a few hours before, and decide between dress and live show the bits they want to tweak or just ditch based on whether they flopped with the audience, the sketch isn't paying off with that specific host or maybe it's too technically challenging to risk screwing up on live TV. It's smart to have a backup sketch and means they can also offer some online-only content that get millions of views on YT.

Tbh the only good thing they have is that you can truly watch them with your family and kids without fearing that a sex scene or crazy violence will show up and then embarrass you. I only watch so I will truly feel that it’s Christmas, they’re the few kinds of movies that I can watch with my grandmother and young niece, and it’s sometimes great to take a break from the psycho, dramatic, sex obsessed plots, even if the story is too predictable.

Ottawa, where Danny Aykroyd was born, and raised. Also, the actor who plays the funny store manager on the NBC TV show"SuperStore".Ottawa is the capital of Csnada, just as Washington,DC is our capitsl, friends. Also, contrary to what,s stated in this comedy skit,I believe that some Hallmark Christmas movies were probably also filmed in British Columbia,on Canada,s west,Pacific coast, especially settings with mountains on view. The Canadian Rockies run through British Columbia,so it,s a favorite site for stories involving mountains.

OK, I work in retail here in 2021: we got a box of Christmas movies. I thought the lady on the cover looked familiar; turns out the 3 titles in there had the same couple as the main leads! I had to show my coworkers this sketch to show "life imitates art!"
