Main male character is always the owner of a *vital business (but not actually). He will own a bakery, or make chocolates, or run some kind of bed and breakfast/inn type thing. This business is small, and obviously not THAT important, but the story will make it seem like the whole town will be ruined if "Ben's Chocolate Slop Shop" is bought by BIG BUSINESS COMMERCIAL CHAIN VILLAIN! Thankfully, writer/photographer/blogger/chick returning home just one last time from the big city will put out a fantastic thing that will save the business, find her true love, and the town will remain Pleasantville.

The only thing missing are the upscale, million + dollar homes all the characters live in, no matter what their story professions or where it's located. Also, the Christmas ones always involve the main characters' car breaking down on a 2 lane road in the middle of nowhere, and being rescued by the other main character who happens to come along just at the right time....with a lot of fake snow everywhere.

I'm a wound care nurse, so I can be stuck in patient rooms for extended periods of time. Sometimes they're watching Hallmark movies, and this nails them perfectly. I have the plot within the first five minutes of watching, because they're all the same. They'll keep the channel on all day, and watch the movies back to back. I don't know how they do it, because the only thing that changes is the setting and the actors. This is absolutely hilarious, and the pointed toe was a nice touch. I laughed out loud quite a few times. This is one Hallmark movie I would willingly watch.

For real, my mom and I started watching this new movie called a Paris waltz and the acting was so bad, but the worst part was it NEVER stopped snowing, but that wasn’t even the worst part, the worst part was there was never snow actually on the ground so it was snowing, but with no snow on the ground it annoyed us so much. My mom sort of fell asleep and i didn’t want to watch it by myself and I was completely bored so we turned it off and never finished the movie and we never will because it was so bad. The plot and storyline was horrible. What a waste of two hours of my life that I’ll never get back

My siblings and I have started our own awards show called The Hollies, where we honour the most cliche Hallmark films of the year. We have a bunch of cliches to tick off, like: Consuming a holiday-specific beverage in the small town's Cafe or inn. A busy professional who doesn't like Christmas, but the romantic interest does, as well as the classic, the barely disguised Santa appearance. Overall we have 19 cliches, and this year will be the 5th annual Hollies. I swear I have a life 😅
