Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together ,it was a really bad phase but we got through it.

I’m introverted and find it hard to make friends because I prefer my own company, but I’m lonely also.. I’m between a rock and a hard place.. I need to accept I am who I am..

Never. Your mental and physical health changes for the better when you ward off negativity. I’m down to two friends. Don’t think that solitude is a bad thing. It helps you in many ways.

It’s sad meaningful relationships are not valued, our culture does not want commitment or accountability. I’ve noticed people are content with surface relationships….no commitment, no accountability. It’s sad

Yep. I did that. I cut all my friends who only remember about me when they need something. What's coming is way more important that being busy with nonsense. Loneliness is wonderful. Meeting people and letting them be is wonderful. Live your life as you see it and intend to.

As I’ve gotten older I enjoy my own company more than friends. I’m actually an extrovert but friends have been a disappointment for the most part. I have a few but I limit my time with them. Would rather hang out with myself and my puppy.😅. Women can be a pain and jealous of each other.

@sassysandie2865 I can relate to what you said. My relatives are a pain in the butt, so I rarely want to see them. I have several female friends, but I'm aware they might be jealous so I tone down on my outfits and wear baggy clothes when we meet. I spend my weekends with my plants and my little cat and gym is my boyfriend 😂 I'm OK but I'm terrified of dating and getting hurt. I'll be fine staying healthy.

I haven’t listened to the whole podcast yet but just the title-maybe we could move people from our inner circle but it’s been a cultural thing to go no contact etc… I think it’s just cruel. Kids suffer from all the clicks in school, neighbors, churches, etc have their favorite groups. What about if we walk in love… our commandment from the New Testament !

Yeah, I agree. The whole "CUT PEOPLE OUT OF YOUR LIFE" trope is unChristlike. Imagine if Jesus "cut out" everyone who didn't agree with him. Heck, he didn't even cut out people who hated him.

Yes, but you need to reach out to others. It is hard and it depends on your immediate surroundings sometimes. I have found, for example, that some communities are much more interested in connecting than others, and it all depends on what town, State you live in. I travel on purpose and notice these things. It can be discouraging when you visit a church and no one even says hello, or you go to a small group and they only talk to each other! I've found friendlier people at the local Veterans Home than at most churches and they appreciate you being there more too😢
