Since I’m very new at this it would be helpful to have a list of pieces and their sizes your teaching is wonderful and easy to follow. I’ve been binge watching your videos and learning to make blocks. Thanks

Both are doable for any quilt. The flowery one is absolutely fabulous. The colour mix is stunning ❤️

The first block is ok...but the second block is fabulous! (Just my color choices.) Good job with the instructions!

Listen, Sis, finished quilts are perfect enough. Only Jesus was perfect and we’re not Him so I think you did just fine. I love that you’re real about the mistakes because newbies like me really appreciate it because I can absolutely be guilty of beating myself up. Thanks for your videos. As for color combinations, I liked them both. The first one was modern and whimsical and the second was traditional and lovely.

This is a cute block. I can see where it could be used in many ways. I love the second color way fabrics best. The first, I would like better if the green with white dots would be better as a solid. Just my opinion. I really like these. Thank you for sharing this with us.😊❤🎉

Are you sewing with zig zag stitch? I’m curious why you do if that’s the case. Thank you for demonstrating the ending fabric to save thread. I’ve been seeing for over 50 years and hadn’t figured that out 😂

I’m not, it is just a straight stitch❤️❤️

Are you familiar with the process of makings a strip set to do 4 or 9 patch? Like your 4 patch here, sew 2 strips how ever long, 5 inch, 10 etc.. then cut it into your block size, then flip one 180 degrees then sew your 4 patch. It is a time saver for sure. Fabric Cafe does this ALL the time. time. If it is for a nine patch, sew 3 strips, cut, rotate, and sew.

If fabric is dirrectional, you will need to turn upside down and do another strip set with it facing the normal way.

I have done it that way too!

Can I ask what the unfinished size is? I’m wondering how many I need to make a twin size. Beautiful blocks and we all make mistakes - I’d leave it. My mom used to say “Pobody’s Nerfect”
