Made this block some time ago and have just made it again buy not just one, maybe enough for a quilt (24 blocks @ 12 inches each?). I used three distinct but complimentary fabrics and if the blocks are turned in certain ways they make an Irish chain with delightful effect. I'm looking through Quilt Block Genius to see if I can recognised any other possible one block quilt patterns.

Hello. I have one made with a button closure on each side. . I would love to see how you would make it. Not sure how to send you a picture of it. You don’t have to use any other hardware.

Your problem with the pink one is the material. It is much thinner than the blue one. It's a pretty block though, but thin material is much harder to work with when cutting up in small pieces.

Love the block! Please put your brace on. It shouldn't bother anyone unless you can't work with it on. Might be time to consider an accuquilt cutter. I feel so bad for you. I know it hurts! Have you tried clips rather than pins? Maybe they wouldn't hurt as much? Sending good thoughts your way!❤

I love watching your videos. Please don't take this comment as a criticism, I had the exact thing happen to me. I feel you need to buy a 1/4 " foot to gett more accurate sewing even thought most of your sewing is perfect. I too was using the stackable stickies you are using. To a point they work perfect, Watch your videos and keep an eye on when the triangle tail leaves the stickey stack and you will see it curve in when it has nothing to follow, this is exactly what happened to me. When you use a 1/4 foot with the bar that the material follows it is with you all the way through the throat plate, past where the sticky pads ends. Watch and see. Thank you for your time in making the videos they are so helpful.

❤❤❤ Have you tried to learn to use your other hand to do your cutting? I have a lazy left eye. My Eye Doctor told me to learn to write with my left hand to help correct my lazy eye. It takes a while, but I can write with either hand. The hand writing is different from my right hand. This is a cute block. I love Gingham.

Hello! I’m trying to do this for myself too. I’m wondering if some fabric is better than others for watch bands. My main thing is that I want the band to be comfortable but after that I do kinda want to use my seasonal fabric. So I’m just wondering how you decided what kind of fabric to use? Thank you!
@CutandCreate2 ай бұрын
Honestly I just picked a soft fabric that would not irritate my skin… it did wear down so you might want to add some lightweight interfacing to it

I just wanted to let you know that I hope you go very far! You have a wonderful way of teaching and your voice is so smoothing. I truly enjoyed "your small mistakes" because it shoes that every sewist is NOT perfect and you showed those parts. PLEASE keep showing them. They help the beginners to understand how to fix those booboo that everyone makes. I have been sewing for 54 years and quilting for over 30. I absolutely LOVED your presentation and when you could not find the word, I said outlook to myself...that sounds just like me! So PLEASE, keep.doing your videos! I can not wait to see more! I loved your block!!!
