I'm sorry I had an akita for 13 years she was the best dog I ever had she never barked or got aggressive she was fantastic with my granddaughter when she was born yes they are a strong dogthey need good training even the vets said what a well behaved dog she was I loved her when she passed it broke my heart I've always had dogs 4 in total I would have anougher akita any day

@@TheAkitaLife no problem I really like your videos and it is true that most people abondon the dogs after they’re not a puppy any more it makes me sick , I’ve been watching videos on akitas and been doing research on the breed seeing if I was able and a good fit to take care of the dog I need to older to take care of the dog but I’m currently training a redhealer because my parents are to lazy to and wow she is not the easiest to train.

I’ve started to research the breed and your videos pop up and I noticed that a lot of research claims that this breed doesn’t work well with other dogs. I have a 1 year old husky(male) & I’m interested in getting an Akita(female). Any opinions on if they could coexist in the same home?

You'll never really know until you put them in thay situation, however Akitas are same sex aggressive so you definitely would want to stick with getting a female Akita. If you get the Akita as a puppy they should accept the Husky, but again it's impossible to say. I would definitely find a good breeder that breeds for temperament

By the way at the time I had 2 cats and 3 dogs that my new husband had never ever had any trouble with my suki

Exception to every rule, but imagine if someone's cat gets killed because they read your comment.

@@TheAkitaLife if you dog is training is good and it socially trained it should not cause a problem any other dog breeds can kill a cat not just an akita

Hi can you help I have been sitting my sons fur baby for many years now he is 3 my son has 4 kids and they have gone on holiday I stayed in there house for a few nights and had a night away but when I see the fur guy I take him a treat I have known him since a pup he is a little shit but I love him any way his family went on holiday and when I came back after a few hours he ate the staire carpet why has he trying to say he was pissed .lol.from his nan. Xxxxx
