Why do you need the cubes for the eyes / mouth? Can't you parent the mouth etc. directly to the bone?

Just to mention if anyone has their mirrored avocado spaced apart make sure to arrange the merge limit on the mirror modifier. It worked like a charm for me. Hope that helps. xxx

so helpfull tutorial, but when i click on automatic weights 23:31 my blender show me little textbox with "bone heat weighting: failed to fing solution for one or more bones". And I dont know what to do with it. Any advice?

What is exactly CTRL+ALT+S ??? you go so fast and you dont explain anything...also resizing in the Z axis to make bones flat wont work for me. Because probably the roll of the bones get messed up for some reason even before i duplicated it. But since i dont have any idea how to fix it (i tried) when i duplicate, it gets completely deformed. For beginners it is really hard to follow, whats the purpose if we dont even know what the heck are we doing?.Bad "tutorial", really bad. Its like following what you do without even knowing why.

Thank you so much liked and subscribed. I've been struggling to bend cylindrical arms using normal rigs (pierces through even weight painted for hours) so I looked for tutorials with similar arms and this is the first time I've seen a bendy bone rig, worked like a charm for mine. Thanks.

Really good tutorial u won my like and suscribe iEvery thing went wrong when i copyed the arms like the legs fix most of the problems poping up but now when i attach the mesh to the armature arms work grate but when i move a leg it interacts with the mesh on the other leg and same thing around ant idea how to fix it??

Hi. I know your comment was from a year ago, and you either figured it out or moved on, but for anyone doing this tutorial now: Yes! I was having tons of problems figuring this out as well. At the time of this comment, I'm using Blender 4.2, and the scale for bBone is now shift + ctrl + alt + s 🙂
