you followed the instructions perfectly, the number mistake is on their part as you should actually end up with 26 stitches

As others have pointed out, there is a mistake in the instructions. On round 21 of the head, you get 26 stitches instead of 24. I really don't think it's a big deal though. I'm still not done but I'm sure it'll work out just fine.

After reaching 34 sts of the head, your pattern says to make 10sc, (sc, dec) rep in R21, and this gives 24 sts for this round. But instead of 24 I'm getting 26 sts even after frogging the round 2 times. Can you pl confirm the number of sts. I want to finish this ASAP. Thanks in advance
