Gibbons delight me. I know that they are mischievous but they are also mysterious. And those extraordinary movements!! When I was preparing to move from my small Mojave Desert hometown to the WA northwest, my cousin and I had Chinese food and he revealed a wonderful idea he had... A stadium with an overhead track, and padded metal arm extenders with hand grips, to be operated with one's own hands. Using these, a person could swing freely and with great speed around the track (or tracks), not unlike roller- or iceskating but in the air. And what would these extenders be called? *GIBBONARMS!!!* For years I believed in the joyous potential of GibbonArms until cost-benefit and insurance realities caught up with me.
