Much appreciate this vid, JE. Discovering Tokyo Rickshaw's friends, partners and associates in Asakusa is just as pleasant as riding with them, especially when Misato-san is making the presentations. Mii-chan, kak'koii and funny as ever, looking really good with that hairstyle. I was impressed by the speed and accuracy of that sewing machine at 12:09. Very fine work (for some reason, I think JE will take good care of that sweater and wear it with pride, 😉). Your walks, sight-seeing/window browsing vids (like the one in Kamakura you released recently) are very enjoyable and relaxing, with or without random encounters. As for your interview videos, they make excellent Nihongo practice material regardless of the subject. Funny, authentic and thoroughly subtitled. I've said this before but having the option to turn the subs on and off when not needed / while re-watching is precious. Also, my knowledge of written Japanese is quite limited but as far as the most idiomatic turns of phrases are concerned and with an audio of this quality, switching to the auto-generated Japanese subs provided by KZbin actually seems to give pretty reliable results like 99 % of the time (the one missing percent being when you got a gust of wind blowing into your mike / a bus passing by your rickshaw). Pretty handy feature to have on a long, in-depth conversation, in addition to your regular subs. JE has done a lot of exploring lately, in and out of town, finding/meeting some pretty unique spots and people in the process. If and when you can, I'm sure the fans would love a weekend in Hakone, Kawagoe, or Utsunomiya. In Tokyo itself, any more surprises from Asakusa will be welcome. Of course, I won't complain if you have other surprises in mind like that crazy / omoshiroi Muscle Girls video, 💪❤🤣. That was hot, hilarious and so very unexpected. Looking forward to see and hear more from the 浅草 Furisode ladies, as well. You mentioned you were able to talk (or maybe even to get an interview) with Manager Shioh-san during the first part of your latest ride with Misa-san (10:07 to 10:20), so I have good hope you were able to discuss the terms of a collaboration that'll be as long and prolific in content as your Tokyo Rickshaw coverage. Misato-san, number one ambassador of Asakusa. Thanks for sharing, JE Onii-san, enjoy your shirt (you sure have earned it, 👍).

I don't know man.. there's this stereotype about Japanese people being cold, not familiar to strangers or foreigners.. or even racist.. I have suggestions of videos about it.. but man when you se these videos of Japan Explorer and you see how nice, friendly and honest these people is, the only thing that comes to my mind is how media can influence and feed such of credo. I know there should be not friendly people in Japan, (like everywhere else) but also there are people like all these shown in his videos, lovely people. This is my favorite channel!
