All the people saying this is such a wholesome Anime…. aren’t lying; however it’s enveloped in heavy emotional damage. It does an amazing job of going over mental health issues dealing with depression, low self esteem, grief. Subaru despite his shortcomings is tenacious AF even if it means personal harm to himself. The amount of personal growth for Him and Emilia (and others as well) by the end of season 2 is satisfying and I can’t wait for October for season 3!!! How many times would you die to save the ones you love?
