I think you missed one of my favorite tips ever which is painting your thumbs nails last and using them for the clean up just like how in many nail salons they will do. With this tip I rarely ever have to use the brush and nail polish remover which I found need more precision not to get the acetone to run into the polish you wanna keep but your thump you have better control with
