One can also your “True Grips” (which are dots) by TrueCut or Invisigrip by Omnigrid (12.5” by 1 yd), so depending on how many rulers and/or templates that you have that don’t have this feature already part of it, you can either use the dots or cut from the yardage. My rule of thumb is I use the dots on smaller rulers/templates and use the yardage on large rulers/templates.

Love all your videos. Could you do a video or maybe you have one on rotary cutters. I have a fiskars and I put a new blade in but it still isn’t cutting all the way through my fabric. I was actually cutting with it Saturday and messing with it not cutting and it slipped and cut part of my finger

Are you sure you're using only one blade? If you use 2 it won't cut. Ask me how I know this!

Thank you so much for watching! There are so many rotary cutters out there, and we haven't used the Fiskars before, but do check to make sure you only have one blade, like @septemberbaby suggested. If you get two on accident they can stick together and won't cut. Also, some rotary cutters allow you to switch sides for left-handed cutting. Make sure your blade is on the correct side. Marie: Get yourself a Klutz Glove (available on some quilting supply sites) or another type of cut-resistant glove (kitchen specialty sites have them as well) and use it FAITHFULLY any time you handle those rotary blades.
