In your experience would I be able to get away with cutting away the top of a saber and replacing it with a normal saber blade pointed tip ends with a 1”OD? I’ve cracked one of my blades by the tip and would like to shorten it but wasn’t sure how the end cap tip could be handled!

It would all depend on how the tip is attached but yes, I think you could. Just be careful with the film inside. I would suggest pushing that down and cutting from the bottom rather than cutting it jagged at the top. But I've never done it that way so be very careful

Definitely not. There's a string of LEDs in there that cannot be cut. You'd have to buy or have someone make you a short blade.

@@MakerMaddox Oh noo! I already bought a lightsaber, but I didn't realize it was so big. It's the first time, now I'm going to have to get used to it. I can't even change it, because I live in Germany 🤦‍♂️😭😭

@@andreideyudei7230 I wouldn't sweat it too much as most lightsaber retailers only offer between a 28 and 32 inch which isn't much if a difference. A short shoto blade would most likely have been an add on sale anyway as they're a specialty order. Everywhere I've seen them they're offered as an extra and not shipped as your sabers actual blade but I could be wrong. Either way, you'll want at least 1 regular blade at some point as I'm sure this won't be your last saber. 🤣🤣 Get it with the next hilt and then you'll be able to interchange them.
