Beautiful. A lot of botryoidal and orbicular patterns. Orbicular is my favorite after banding, happy hounding.

This is too much to take in at one time. I'm going to have to watch this about 20 times just to soak it all in. They sent you some amazing pieces to cut. I'm over here feeding my poor mother oxygen and trying to keep her from passing out. She's a fossilized coral junkie. She suffered a jaw injury from it hitting the floor when you opened that last big on. LOL!

These are always an incredible treat to see cut, cleaned up and under UV light. My top favorite is the black and really blue one @2:22.💙 The one you said was your favorite so far, the one that is pretty much all black, the one you said looks like a dog and that last big one are all second favorite. Those are beautiful! Ive seen these cut open from paleocris and wildkyle. They are beautiful. The colors are phenomenal! They react under uv too! those corals were so cool! they polish well too. They look awesome with mineral oil on the bot bits and an edge polish. They will still react under uv too. Thanks for sharing!

I cut regular coral, the calcified kind. Has those pores and tissues visible. Almost like a petoskey stone.

Great pieces! I bought a bunch of this material at an estate auction recently. Mine has a lot more reds and golds, compared to the blues and blacks of yours. I wonder if it's a difference in water chemistry at the different spots they were collected or what. Thanks for sharing!
