I subscribed for Makeup and Movies so stuck around after the rebrand. Your outlook and sense of humor are fresh and different, and your videos are entertaining. In fact, I wish you posted more often and would sprinkle in some videos just talking to us like this or sharing your favorite things, not even makeup related. Snacks, Amazon finds, decor for the new house, filming equipment, whatever…it offers a sense of getting to know you better. So while I’m here for the new content I’d still love a sense of just chatting and getting to know Jaime, not always a character, since you are what made me want to subscribe in the first place.

I have done KZbin for 15 years. Almost no ones views stay high because the algorithim only lets you do one thing and does not allow you to adapt to changing times/trends/growing up/audiences etc. You gotta stay in your dumb little dungeon of whatever you did when you started until your audience moves on. It's almost easier to start an entirely new channel than to change the direction of an established one (case in point, I made a 2nd channel for other content and the videos outperformed my main channel somehow). This is not a criticism of you or what you chose to do with your channel btw I am just venting that its pretty much set up so that longevity is impossible. It makes me happy to watch other creators who have decided not to put themselves through hell trying to "win" youtube and just doing whatever makes them happy. The genuineness shows. I hope you can keep doing everything you love on your own terms.

The same thing happened to me after I had Covid. It didn’t start happening for about 2 months afterwards. At first I didn’t know it was due to Covid so I was absolutely terrified that there was something more serious causing the hair loss. I’m currently in the process of my hair growing back, which I’m so thankful for! So now I have little tiny hairs slowly growing back all over my head, in random spots that I didn’t even know I was losing my hair. So, that is super fun to deal with 🙃 but I am just happy that the hair is growing back! It’s an odd side effect that seems to only happen to females.

Omg the AIP diet is the BEST DIET EVER to find out which foods aren’t good for your body/health. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive and time consuming to do, but it definitely would help anybody learn so much about themselves and it can seriously change a persons health, especially if they are living with any chronic illnesses! I was in the hospital for most of December. My hair was waist long and I was filling my bathroom garbage can with hair when brushing it. So in Feb I got a short pixie cut and I am so happy. I've been around before the rebrand and as interested as I was in makeup, I actually prefer the content now. The older I've gotten, I now know how I like my makeup done, so I've also widened my content viewing. It was your personality that made me subscribe, not just the makeup. So now I get more personality. It's great!

Okay the bath video of your parrot was the best thing ever! I have a rescue African Grey (he plucks a lot of his feathers sadly as he had a bit of a traumatic past). One of Webster's favourite thing is having a bath everytime I am cleaning, it's the cutest.
