Great stands. Also great board at the end. I really like the randomness of the brick pattern. Well done. Btw, why not make a template and use a router to do much of the work (obviously not all) vs. all the sanding? I get there may be some close quarters work, but using paddles to keep the fingers away appears doable.

I use a mixture of tung oil, linseed oil and Gerneral Finishes Arm R sea (Satin)l, then I buff in a little homemade wax.

Wouldn't it have been easier if you drew out from your template a few more on each board ? From your design could you not have got four stands instead of one on each board?

i ordered you diagram of the stand from your web site but there are NO Measurements. No Scale in the drawing. Just an outline of the stand. Please provide some kind of reference. For 12.00 I expected at least measurements. Liked the video.

Hey Charles, The dimensions were in the description but they measure 5.5" long (bottom) x 5.25" High, Also the template prints to scale so all you really need to do is cut it out. let me know if you have any further questions, I am happy to help.

@@thewoodplank4376 How thick? We're you using 3/4" finished width or what. I usually use rough lumber and mill to spec. Thanks.

@@csranch2000 I usually use .75 to 1 inch material, although you can make them any thinkckness you want. I’ve seen folks use 8/4 stock, I guess it depends on what you have available and the look your going after.
