Hi from Pennsylvania. I have a very large spruce tree I have to cut from top down.power lines and house in the way. Gives me a excuse to get a new stihl climbing saw.. 😊

I just found your channel. I grew up in a logging family. I now live in Pennsylvania. I went to Alaska after high-school and the army. My father passed away cutting timber. Heart attack. I came home for mother. Now I'm back working in the forest. God bless. You have a awsome channel.

Saw dust gets into your blood. Im absolutely proud of my father and being a logger. Again. After leaving to serve in the US army. God bless all.

Nice shots! I noticed on most aspens the bark was stripped of. Was that done to prevent saplings to shoot out of the rootstock? Woody greetings, Peter

I think its a scandanavian way of killing the tree the year or so prior so it'll dry standin up
