A sharp knife would have sliced through in one quick motion, not giving the Cuttlefish time to feel the pain and react rather than the sawing action here. Your comment of 'It's food what do you expect us to eat' implies that it doesn't matter if it's cruel, as long as you get your food.

I don't know (I eat beef and some types of fish), so I know that it is a bit hypocryphal of me to even think this way, but I just feel really weird when it comes to the octopus and the cuttlefish because I've seen so many different animal specials that go into detail as to how very-very intelligent these particular animals are, and I can only imagine that they are well aware of what is about to happen to them. I don't know, I just feel a bit weird that's all. Listen, bottom line, I guess when it comes right down to it, most of the animals pretty much know that they are about to be butchered. Oy.
