Being a muso with a background in music tech as well as graphic design/art and a keen player of many an instrument, I've always thought about entering the world of luthiering which would go hand in hand with some of my other skills and technical knowledge but always refrained from it's more specialist nature but after really sinking my teeth in to the content you've released, you make the whole concept much more approachable, especially in regards to the workshop environment, the tools and the no-fuss-can-do approach. I think it would be nice to reach a point in my journey where I would be able to create a lovely baritone electric guitar in a custom Warlock style. I'm a metel-ead but I will often write and track pieces from Classical through to Pop and everything in between but my heart is made of metal. I know the journey will be long in the learning but so has everything else I have picked up over time and it's all worth it. Put you on the spot a bit now - Looking back at when you first started, are there any lessons or pearls of wisdoms you wished you had known about back then that made things, not easier but more efficient in your processes?

Yes, as long as the grain of the wood is running in the same direction. You could always try a cut and chisel, further away from your body as a test at first.
