Cutting WJ Fenders

I cut the fenders on the Grand Cherokee to aid in tire clearance.

I have done this on two of my Jeeps. I'm on my third Jeep and have decided to use the cut and fold method to keep some of the strength (in the front). The rear wheel well is a different story. You have to cut and reweld the unibody together. It is a pain in the ass.

Something i recently did was a zj washer bottle swap. If you got online and buy the compact 87dynamics air filter for these things you remove the clunky stock air box and replace with a much more compact washable filter. After that there is tons of space to mount a zj wash bottle fluid reservoir on the fender in the engine bay. The wj pumps pop right into it. email me at [e-mail] for some pictures!

Take the windshield washer bottle out get the ZJ bottle. Future wheeling you are sure to rip out the stock bottle.

Hey, yep you were right, tore that sucker up good on the Box Canyon trip, who needs washer fluid anyway, real jeepers wait for it to rain to clean their windshield ...LOL Looks like I'm going to the junkyard to get me an ZJ washer bottle...

Most likely with that lift and tire combo yo will have to I have 32" tire with a 4"lift.. Once you get that flexing it will rub, mine actually tore into the fender and it ripped chunks out of my tire.
