Back when I was laying a lot of bead, we'd peen the hell out of new weld, or use needle guns to take the stress out of the weld while it was still hot. I'm guessing induction hardened 4140 might be a bit less prone to stress deflection, but there must be some issue with displacement sometimes.

Is it just you in that big shop?

Hey man, do you work after hours when you make these videos? I never see anybody else in the shop.

Hey mate there isn't anyone else that works here, do work some long hours when it's your own business but prefer night time as no interruptions, cooler and can be a lot more time efficient

@@CuttingEdgeEngineering you are a one man shop? Wow. Impressive.

Nice work. As educating as it is entertaining. Page 28:50 this is a new strapping style I hoped to see in previous episodes. The old style tends to pull up the planks liberating the cargo.

Your awesome videos inspired me to finish acquiring my machine shop stuff and I’ve got a lathe and mill now to accompany my welding machines. Cheers from Ohio 👍

If it looks easy it's because whoever's doing the work is skilled. Zero knowledge of what you do, but its it's easy to recognize your skill even for a guy (myself) who has no idea how to do what you do. Love watching! Thanks for sharing!👊
