General Norman is not only such a great Commander but also a gentleman and kind hearted that his strategy of doing whatever it takes to save every US/Coalition soldier life worked brilliantly. I do not know of any general who achieved such a swift victory in Modern Warfare such Desert storm, Any nations army/soldier would wish to have a General like Norman...even the Zionist state of Israel who boast of 1967 victory had 650 deaths in 6 days, and 2500 deaths in 1973 Yom Kippur war which lasted 2 weeks. In Medieval times during the time of Prophet Mohammad pbuh , the Arab Muslim commander Khalid Bin Waleed was the best Strategist in Warfare, he fought more than 100 battles and didn't loose a single battle, a feat not achieved by any Military commander in history.

He said well I better get to work and came over and stood right next to me in the serving line and stay with us for quite some time helping serve and cook pancakes. Ventende...... I read the war memoirs of General Sir Peter De La Billiere, who was the senior British officer and also the SAS Commanding Officer. He had nothing but the highest regard and praise for General Swartzkopf, which was great to know, especially as potential rivalries could've surfaced. He was honest enough to say that Storming Norm's abruptness and even rudeness at times could've been offensive but was acknowledged as being the prerogative of a commander who was after all bearing the responsibility for the whole operation. That is something which is understood by all men of command. He was a credit to the whole force and especially to his troops and his country. RIP General Swartzkopf.
