How'd the tent hold up with some off roading on those bars? Anything break or stress the mounts?

The combo has held up really well. The Rhino Rack Vortex Bars have been really solid with no issues or movement. Tent weighs 150lbs so I think I'm right around the dynamic limit of the bars but I'd highly recommend them, super easy to get the tent on and off compared to a low profile rack system. No breakage, noises, squeaks or any issues (knock on wood).

Thanks! Without tent, it’s at 6’4” so with tent probably right around 7’4”

@@DSMAKR001 Yep, running a 3” lift (BILSTEIN 5100s + Toytec/ARB springs) on Spidertrax and 33s. Perfect stance and do it all set up

Is this totally stock roof rack? Just with aftermarket cross bars? I’m looking to get one for my 4th gen but idk how it will hold up

Yep, factory rails w/ rhino rack bars. Several trips on this setup, no issues.

They might be able to but it was advised by CVT to use aftermarket bars in combination with the factory rails

iliana Penaloza I have the 03-05 standard rack with Rhino Rack Vortex crossbars. Pretty sure the setup is rated to hold 225lb dynamic / 800lb static
