Small Tips which will make the stage a lot easier during 2nd Phase. You can Stall during the 1st Phase untill the Right side balls disappear (You will hear the leaking beep sound), they will not change the enemies route, they will still go like in the video. And at the end when i deployed the AOE medic, it was supposed to be deployed 1 tile more on right, i literally had 1 sanity so did that mistake, basically just deploy close the bottom left ball.

@@gknomessYeah, I think I spent like a total of 100ish sanity to beat it last night. And you know, the more you fail, the more impatient you get and the more impatient you get, the more you fail. X__X I did eventually get it. If you have DP issues, you can skip out on slow supporter and top sniper (from least important to most important). You do, however, want both casters up and ready on the top with Ifrit blasting bottom. If your Ifrit is maxed, or able to borrow a maxed one, you can skip on sniper too. Also, after you deploy the slow supporter and snipers, if you still have DP issues, just deploy Myrtle again at UP or DOWN tile, doesn't matter. She should be able to get her skill off 1-2 times depending on your mastery and timing. Good luck!

Actually u can deploy the medic 1 tile to the right. aka next to the ball. Kristen cannot hit the medic there. I think Kyo just confused because he basically running on negative sanity so i wont dig much into it. But yea. move the medic 1 tile to the right is the real correct location.

for those of you with higher level squads and are wondering. You can cut out A LOT of the juggling/stalling depending on how strong your roster is. Like the redeploying of mylnar and such you dont need to do if your characters are strong. As long as you follow the key points like killing x enemy and such itll work fine.

Oh man, what a stage to watch then! Lol This was def 1 of the most intricate stages, esp for accounts with low rarity Ops. I pretty much came up w the same strat, but that body-blocking to line up the swordsmen for Shaw push and Mlynar schwing is just Kyo-level of 😘👌. Goes to show that even a newbie can still manage an end-game stage if given enough brain juice and sanity. With that said, I wish you a great start to AK and a deep run in this event!

Lin is god tier this stage, you could literally just place her in the middle and fucking spam her skill, shes almost invincible against the boss with her module

Just a quick tip to anyone struggling with the last boss defense, 5* Silence(even E1S2 LV70) can substitute Perfumure solo, without the need of redeployment time for the 2nd healer. She's almost as cheap as Perfumer and her attack speed&healing drone making Kyo's guide considerably easier.

Idk what I’m doing wrong but it seems to time out? around 14:11 when I’m juggling the lightsaber guys around. It did it before this part too, but I didn’t have any leaks, and it stopped the stage. I successfully did this on normal mode. Rerun will end soon, but thank you so much for getting me this far, Kyo. I finally finished the story this time, and even S stages. Never did I ever expect to get here.

Definitely one of the hardest stage I've ever did outside of CC, even with some other guides and yours as well. Definitely because of my timing and all had to be precise and with a bit of luck as well. For this stage, I used a bit of higher level units, such as Texas Alter, Saria, and even Poxy. Since I have Mlynar, I use Saria as my friendly support to handle kristen. I had to do multiple times using the same squad because of the timings. Now, I need to readjust my squad to held up against Challenge mode next.

Just wondering how click + kroos can break the ball in time but E2 amiya + kroos can't do it in time. Then i find out click att interval is 1.3 but amiya is 1.6. UPDATED : Thx for the drone explanation Kyo, so drone caster can't be replaced in this stage :D Some tips from my run : Weedy S2 can replace shaw and her water canon can put the left top ball up when the boss died first time. It can avoid many redeployment step. Dorothy can replace kroos, her mine can bring more dmg and help fix some leaks. Kaltist can replace a defender and it helps a lot to ease the DP pressure for the beginning and monster can be fast redeploy make the stage much easier.

keep in mind click attacks with drone, so it counts as 2 attacks, which will reduce the dron'es resistance faster

If you have vigil he can really simplify gravel's job as a vigna replacement in this squad. Bump fang a tile up at the beginning, the later use him to near-break the ball above the refridgerator while blocking it for mlynar. Then use him to break the ball on the bottom left instead of mlynar, putting him in place for near-starting phase 2 instead.

This is one of the more trickier stage. Use texalter S2 to one cycle the balls. That way you didn't need to place unit specifically to hit the top right ball.

It's 4am. I have spent *days* trying to solve this sucker. I have probably given you five dollars in ad revenue because I kept coming back as a reference note while also sharpening my timing, refining my placements and getting the right operators to do the job for me. None of what I have typed above is a diss on you Kyo, you were literally the bedrock of my formations and solutions and I thank you for that. What I am saying is I finally conquered this beast and I hope whoever designed this one and its CM limitations stubs their toe for all eternity. Also Texas is my new goddess, I am starting a church for her next Tuesday and all are welcome but no kool aid allowed.

This stage is TOO brutal holy crap. I lost 100 Sanity using my own strategy, but I finally beat it. Was it worth it? DOESN'T FEEL LIKE IT. Oh my god, 4 portals is just too much to defend with these kinds of mechanics. Maybe if they allow 1 more deployable unit or 1 less portal, it would be much easier. Those 'Offender' Prototype that needs 3 Block was screwing me over so much.

The real problem is actually the triple cost of guards & defenders, the stage is actually really easy, it's only this handicap made it 3 times harder

The triple ground DP cost is doable, bc you can perma stall the boss's 1st phase to recoup DP and rearrange all your OPs to face the Nascar 3000 in phase 2. I didn't even bother with the shifting on the left side, so I ended up moving Mountain from the right alley to the left choke point in between phases, and Saria from the center stall point to in front of Mountain. Saria was available again waaaaay before the swordsmen arrived, but she was at a whopping 97 DP by then, so I had to keep stalling the left side w Shaw (that I didn't even use to push, just stall fodder), Texalter, and my post-Volcano'd Eyja (who was there to release the top ball) until the right side was mopped up by a Kal+Hoshi+Ifrit+Nighting combo. Once they were done, I quickly retreated them all for DP and plopped Saria next to Mountain just in the nick of time to block 3(!) swordsmen. The Boss had gone in the tunnel by then, so I just finished off the swordsmen, waited for redeployment, and caught the boss w Saria+Mon3ter and gangbanged her w the entire squad.

Man, this took me 5+ hours of figuring it out by myself, and thats w a full 6* squad. Ended up using Eyja S3 like 3 times to thin out a good chunk of the stage; once for the initial shields spawn, 2nd to finish off the bottom shields, 3rd for the top, then 4th for releasing the top left ball in phase 2 immediately. Did a Mountain right, Saria center stall strat for phase 1. Repositioned all OPs before pushing Kirsten into phase 2, with Hoshi+Mon3ter as the crash test dummies in the right, Mountain+Silence on the left with Shaw and Texalter as stallers until the right side is finished, which was then retreated to release their DP to redeploy a 97(!) DP Saria to help fend off the left side swords rush just in time. After that, it's all down to menacingly waiting for the boss with the whole squad. 5 hours. 4 Eyja Volcanos. A total swap out of all the OPs. Cant believe it's done. This stage really gave WD-EX 8 CM a run for its money.

You deserve a good rest this stage is evil. Idk if this helps anyone else but if you have a levelled ceobe you shouldn’t need to use a sniper to help her with the balls (best doggo) and can be a flex spot. not sure if this works with other casters but dog shreds balls

Each transformed ball gives Kristen +1 block required, so it's probable that you didn't destroy a ball and let Kristen transform a third ball, making her require 4 block
