The National Bank of Pakistan, despite being the largest bank in the country, lags behind others in digital services. Customer service and work ethics among its employees and management are significantly lacking, making it the worst in the banking industry. It cannot compete with other players in the Pakistani market such as Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan (SCBPL) and Meezan Bank. Furthermore, claims from respected guests are false, as NBP has yet to fully implement customer data protection protocols and policies. Additionally, Mr. Sohail, who should be providing the bank's perspective, is instead an advocate for all the initiatives that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is taking for banks. When a telco professional runs a bank, it produces results like those seen at NBP. MUZAMIL SHB this podcast is just a waste of my 1 hour.. 😢

Glad to hear that Raast is in the rollout phase but what kind of rollout is this that soemone as "plugged in" as you didn't even know about it? Has NBP done itswlf done anything to promote that. Also, I was surprised at what seemed like "steady as she goes" and "all is well, nothing to see here" kind of responses. Recognizing a problem or an opportunity for innovation is the first step. The guest's positions seemed to be rather regressive and "think inside the box". Draconian punitive measures against loan defaulters and using the lack thereof as an excuse for not expanding financial products and services... wow... mind blown.

Banking of Pakistan is seriously good. I am using Ubl account since more than 15 years. Also I am using ENBD in dubai. Ubl app is much more better than ENBD. It's because of state bank and people like him
