Blade doesn't need to stay on low HP. His HP just has to keep changing so that's why he is really good with Luocha so he can keep reducing his HP, let enemies attack him, and keep healing with his abilities and with Luocha. He doesn't want to be with a shielder cause it reduces his chances of getting his HP reduced by enemies.

I think bailu would be nice with blade too since when enemies attack him, he would just heal it back up from the invigoration.

@@popsodakyler Problem with Bailu is you want him to drop below 50%. It's why Luocha is his bis teammate since his auto heal isn't triggered until the character drops below 50%.

Blade has anti-synergy with shields, actually, because for him to proc his talent he needs to actually take damage. That, and he doesn't have to be low HP (that's Arlan). He just has to keep on taking HP so if you heal him up afterwards so he can take *more* HP, then even better.

Nice, Kafkas banner has only 4 stars who synergise with her kit. Realy love what she does. Yeah on Blade we are on the same page, He´s looking f ing awesome. But a kit wich needs him to be low on health to do his dmg in a turnbased game, that´s big yikes. Actually the same reason why Arlan is called worst 4 star of the game. Also shielder woldn´t be optimal either, cause for his passive followup attack he needs to take the dmg, If you shield him, that would delay his follow up attack, cause he needs to lose Hp to stack his passive. 5 stacks if you shield him, he´ll nearly never get to use that. Wich is also the way of him healing himself. Well but in the end pulling for the style is vallid I guess.

Blade doesn't need to stay on low hp, he just needs to lose hp. Even if you have his hp at 100% or 10% his dmg won't change. And since he uses 1 SP per 3 turns, whatever healer you're running can just heal blade up if things get too dicey. And also since he's hp scaling he's gonna be one of the tankiest on the team, making it rather hard to kill him unless u mess up big time unlike arlan who uses hp but scales off atk.

Yeah I don’t like the way Blade works either. Not to mention their are bosses that hit really hard and can do it multiple times. Blade can very easily die before he can fight back. Specially considering the fact that he doesn’t work well with shields. Without Luocha and his auto heal. Blade would be difficult to manage & as such not recommended for F2P’s without really high investment or most definitely a Luocha.

Loucha is great for Blade actually! His HP doesn't need to stay low like for Arlan, he just needs to take damage. With a good healer on team with Blade he'd become nearly unstoppable

Loucha literally makes Blade viable. Also the reason I’m not pulling for blade because I don’t have Luocha. So either Kafka or Dan Heng IL it is.

Luocha makes Blade is easier to play. But he can still work without Luocha. Hard but still possible. Work around it. Be creative. Like for me, I plan on playing Clara and Ting for constant aggro priority while Blade can free hit without worrying getting himself hurt a lot. His talent requires HP lowered isn't a problem either. I'll put him next to Clara for AoE dmg soaking. Also, when Clara's not in ult, they both will get a lot of aggro anyway. At the end of the day, don't let your gameplay being limited by combos or metas. Be free and play with how you like it.
