Passionate fans will be passionate fans. I get it. I just love to watch Game Theories to open my eyes to more possibilities a broader perspective provides. Instead of looking at it from a fan perspective, I can try and view it from an analytical one as well. Not to say those are mutually exclusive either.

Also, Cy Yu, bro. The Theory was that the lore was broken by the seemingly retconned prigin of the emeralds, chao, and Chaos. As in fans were arguing that this new game broke the lore in half. This theory proves thst to not be the case. Still a theory video, but more of a theory buster video. A reverse theory video if you will.

I'm sorry but how was The Last of Us theory not a theory, when Mat explained that he wrote and recorded that episode before the second episode of The Last of Us came out and confirmed his theory to be true before he could upload his video, I mean he added in that future MatPat bit to explain that despite him uploading his theory late he still wanted to show off how he solved the wheat connection.

Ian Flynn is was the writer for the Archie comics AND is the current writer for the IDW comics And knows how to write sonic characters and make them feel like they're maturing as the game continues

That comic page is not from Archie, that’s from the UK Fleetway Sonic the Comic, Ian Flynn has never wrote for UK 🇬🇧 Sonic the Comic. MatPat is confusing the American 🇺🇸 Archie Sonic with UK 🇬🇧 Fleetway Sonic.

It's more like he's trying to put it together in a way that makes sense rather than making a theory about the game itself. It's a theory on how it all fits together. At least I believe so. Don't quote me on that.

Game Theory’s Genshin videos aren’t even really theories either. The first one is economics and how it works and the other is just science. Like not even theorizing about the lore of Genshin (which a lot of theories can be made)

Tbf those videos were sponsored so he only relied with the old infos and main storyline cuz if he was rlly into it he would've analyzed every side quests since they hold lore that might be important to the main story but tbh I don't blame him if he wasn't rlly into it since it will take a lot of hours to check every npcs and every small details in the world. It was all for the sponsor anyway.

I think the video was interesting, but i do agree it's not a theory, i think he should mark videos like this as "lore analysis" but i bet it would prob get less clicks on youtube.

The best part about this is though it’s just stuff they already explained, MatPat is wrong about one part. The comic with the water monster wasn’t Archie, but Fleetway. The monster was Chaos. Ian didn’t write that comic. He legit looked at the script and messed up one fact 3 times in a row.

Also the last of us game theory video was literally a remake of a like maybe 2014? video about cordyceps being the cause and it was only recently confirmed by the show and since the original video was a game theory why not farm the popularity of the new show by making a "new" video on film theory
