The Cybertruck has really grown on me. It's in its own world. Congratulations!

I’m a electrician so I’d suggest pvc from your charger to below ground. Meaning sleeve that cable for protection. I’m from Ohio but that’s not passing here because of that

That is so cool! Can’t wait to hear more about it.

Please please get it wrapped and add a rear view mirrorcam
@MatthewSerta12 ай бұрын
So far I’ve been quoted $5,000-$8,000 on wraps. So I highly doubt I’m going to lol. I will consider a camera mirror though. I’ve been looking at some options.

Why do you have 2 MYP’s ? You really love your Teslas!
@MatthewSerta12 ай бұрын
I bought the red one back in 2021 and ended up graduating it over to my mom. She uses it as a daily driver. The silver one is new, and I bought it before I planned on getting the Cybertruck, but it’s still a very solid car and it can still come in handy when I just don’t need a truck. I will say it’s weird to drive it now that I’ve been driving the Cybertruck with steer by wire.

@ just curious why you decided not to just wait for the Juniper?
@MatthewSerta12 ай бұрын
@ I’m still not convinced on the stalkless design. Having owned a refreshed X recently I really didn’t like all the steering wheel buttons. I can say they’ve fixed a lot of my concerns on the Cybertruck. Replacing the horn back to the center of the wheel, and using actual physical buttons instead of touch sensors for the signals and such. We will see when the juniper releases, if I decide to get one. My red one will be nearing the end of its warranty soon, and it’ll be a perfect time to think about changing things. I also think steer by wire makes the steering wheel buttons better too though. It doesn’t turn all the way around so finding those buttons is much easier.

@ I agree on the stalkless design. I bought the Highland Performance M3 and installed aftermarket stalks that feel and work just like my friends Model 3 . Love the car so much more now!

Does it have a trial of FSD, and if so what are your thoughts of it now compared to the older versions?
@MatthewSerta12 ай бұрын
It’s the foundation, so it comes with lifetime FSD. Have been using it, it’s the latest version of FSD ahead of the cars (because it’s on single stack they aren’t yet). Personally not a huge fan of single stack. It now goes its own speed regardless of what you put it. Typically 3-5Mph over the limit. Is that good? Yes. But I usually go more, and it doesn’t like that lol. Annoying but not unusable. As far as city streets goes it’s on par with other Teslas. It’s gotten really good as of lately. I’m using it about 50% of the time right now. I don’t use it if I’m in a hurry.

@rayc.8555 it allows me to see the people that wish elon was their daddy in traffic and believe everything he says. It's quite nice actually. It's very easy to spot an NPC.
