I do not understand those peeps who writes shit like "get a real gun" or "airsoft is for pussies and so on". I personally do not play airsoft,and i've recently discovered this channel wich i really enjoy it. I like those reviews and maybe one day i'll buy one of those guns just for the fun of shoot a target without the costs and the burocratic hassle of buy a real gun wich personaly i do not want it and need it,but still enjoy shoot with a good replica of the original one. People who need of a display of hormones buying real AR-15 are the same people who have never been on a battlefield but still take the piss out of airsoft gamers,and probably take the piss out of a guy who in a bar drinks wine instead of beer coz "wine is for ladies". I play airsoft and own a real Scar 17 lmao. A lot of airsofters, at least in the US, have real firearms. It's for a sport not to because people can't afford real guns. But most people can't afford super unique firearms like the Scar or the F2000.

Real gun owner here. I used to own airsoft guns before i bought my first gun. Ammo is cheaper even compared to bulk packs of 22lr. Also i can shoot my airsoft gun in my back yard no prob. I got negibors but with a good backstop i won't get any problems. Now with my actual firearms thats a diffrent story. There is a free range i can go to if i have a hunting or fishing licences but its an hour out there. Some airsoft guns cost about the same as a real gun like a tokerv surplus is 200 ish dollars vs the airsoft being 130 ish ( dont know actual prices). But even still alot of airsoft guns are worth it just for shooting in your backyard.

@@dxmanforlife I usually see Tokarevs for about 300-ish in decent condition, typically Yugoslavian or the occasional Norinco. Anyways you got it right on the money aside from Airsoft being a great recreation it's also just a fun way to plink or run drills or do whatever without the troubles that come with a real gun or even most BB or Pellet guns. These things were made for shooting at people and not to harm them like that and the make great can cannons too for just screwing around with. I wouldn't say I'd take just any airsoft gun to my 10/22 but if push comes to shove these are great indoor plinkers too.

Ah ! I love this style of gun frame. I had of the first one out back in 2008. It was a bit awkward to used to to it but that didnt last long . muscle momeroy adjusted quickly. And i found that it was very practical for ingame use out doors.

Mr mike I want to react on what you say about muscle memory beleve it or not it's true there is a video on KZbin ( translate airsoft to real fire arms ) this video shows an Chinese guy who makes speed shooting competition with airsoft but never touched a real gun and then they transitioned him to shoot a real gun after a full magazine the guy was beating the pros just after a bit of recoil management sooooooo people who say get a real gun airsoft it's for kids al this gibberish ! Bought a Cyma f2000 a few months ago on a whim, and i fell in love with it. I must say though that they mustve updated the design of the gun on the inside slightly, as mine has a hole for quick change spring access. Would recommend getting that version if you're not familiar with tinkering with gearboxes to swap springs.

Mid cap mags really should be the industrial standard now. Hi cap mags are hard to work with, unrealiable, the noise will give away your position in a CQB game.

Fun fact the real f200 only takes those mags as well because it is designed to be waterproof i do believe and has a gasket system that seals with the stanag mags

Slovenian military uses them as their primary rifle. I really like the gun. Probably the stability and the way it is designed to be handeled easily.

To back up your wisdom on gun safety, I’m buying a new 55 inch tv today because I forgot to clear the barrel before dry firing a pistol. But on the fn2000, not a fan. Nowhere to put a torch, vertical grip or laser etc, rail space awful. P90 much better in Airsoft!

You won't need a vert grip with that contoured foregrip! I run a light/laser PEQ on the top rail - works for me!

In the US you can only find the new G&G models with an ETU trigger. I do like that the CYMA version uses a v3 gearbox though.

Yes you take of the butt plate and there is a dial. Turn that with a flat head.

I got one of these and over 3 years the charging handle broke, the feeding nozzle, it blew a fuse and a bearing, besides that the trigger got worn down and now isnt responsive in semi and its very bad in full auto That being said it held for 2 years without any problem and i recommend it if you prefer bullpups

Hi! I'm fairly novice at airsoft (don't know much about maintenance beyond simple disassembly and barrel cleaing, much thanks to this review). This was my first AEG, and i still really like it. It's fairly accurate, feeds well (with the right mags) and overall just feels really good to hold. I ran into an issue down the line though, and i can not find a proper solution anywhere. The magazines have, with time, become harder and harder to eject. I've tried 3 different magazines; one cheap polymer, one slightly more high-end full metal mid-cap and the included high-cap (all of which are STANAG mags). I've noticed that the little metal hinge that moves when you press the magazine release do not go all the way in when i fully press the magazine release button. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if anyone has a solution for it?

Had the samen thing with a brand new tavor. Open your mag release mechanism. 1 of the slide supports is broken off probebly.

Which is better? F2000 or P90?

Depends what you want. F2000 is compatible with SOME M4 mags whereas P90 mags and pouches to hold them are more difficult to source. F2000 is compact for an assault rifle but still a bit bigger than a P90 so you might find it more comfortable to hold if you are a larger person. P90 is supercompact, the MAG midcap mags hold 190 rounds and even though it's tiny, it still has a longer barrel than an MP5.
