I bought one a few months ago to replay all those stargate mission, absolutely love the gun. If you get one buy a second or third magazine, its nice to slap a new magazine into place(not too often tho), plus after awhile the magazine can be hard to load nothings a drop of spray oil or light grease cant fix. Running the P90 as the main with Robocops M93R Auto 9C as a side for when the goa'uld ship turns into the streets of detroit. I actually got to shoot a PS90 in the states and honestly this is an excellent replica.

Well I swapped the hard spring with the soft. The gun ain't the same anymore. It's a pitty. Due to the short barrel, the bbs have not much output after airtime. They drop really quick. So only good for indoor play imo.

So glad there's an up to date review of one of these! I was thinking about getting the 7.4 lipo rather than a nihm. I want the Tokyo Marui integrated red dot p90, and two websites both recommend a lipo and a nihm, but I think I'm going to play it safe with the lipo and not get a high voltage because I don't want to wreck the stock gearbox. So you said about the 7.v lipo, would the gun perform ok with this with no setbacks or dangers of damaging it? Great video mate, thank you!
@DTWAIRSOFT3 жыл бұрын
7.4v lipo will be fine as long as you don't get one that has a high discharge rate. 20c is the max you would want for this

@@DTWAIRSOFT C rating is combination of capacity and rated amperage. If you use, for example, 1200mAh 20C cell it means that your cell can reliably output only 24A, your motor ALWAYS tries to pull the amperage it needs. If you have a motor that pulls 30-50A (most stock ones are at that range) on semi-auto it means that you're stressing a cell A LOT more that it's supposed to be stressed and that drops it's voltage A LOT! That's why lower C rated cell gives you "weaker" feeling. It's not the Amps that are dropping, it's the Volts! You're stressing the cell to the point that it heats up and starts to create small shorts inside making it puff up. It's ALWAYS smarter to get as high C rating as possible due to them lasting much longer. 1200mAh 40C cell can output 48A continuous meaning it won't be as stressed as 20C one and will last MUCH longer! If you're going for lower C rating just to "save your replica" you're just killing your battery cells... I'll try to simplify it even more... Reason why your 1200mAh 20C cell feels weaker is because your voltage drops from (as example) 7.4V to bellow 6V while your 1200mAh 40C cell drops from 7.4V to just 7.0V. Motor pulls 40A and one drops a lot more than the other so you feel like it's "weaker" but it's actually the cell suffering and outputing lower voltage. Long story short ALWAYS buy higher C cells. They will last longer, discharge slower due to less stress put on the cells and wont puff up if you're not pulling more amps out of it that it can reliably give.

A 7.4V Titan li-ion, while expensive, does a really good job in mine. I have the Cybergun model, but I still get good rof with a decent level of range.

got this today, and the red dot sight is giving me problems, since it is not calibrated correctly, the dot is in the upper left corner. It is mentioned in the video that the sight was good after some calibration. How did you calibrate the red dot sight, is there any screws on the underside of the sight that you can use to adjust windage and elevation? I tried detaching it to get at the underside of it, but one of the screws holding it in place was apparently made of soft cheese and not metal, so the the head is more or less destroyed and the screw wont come out now.

There are adjustments on the side to move the unit around. The dot should be in the center at all times not where you said it is. Sounds like something wasn't installed correctly in the factory
