The most tragic part is that David was so caught up in fulfilling Lucy's dream of going to the moon that he lost sight of the fact that all she really wanted was him. BTW Edgerunners won Anime of the Year at the 2023 Anime Awards. It has also been confirmed that this was a stand alone series and won't have second season.

Lauren is chatting it up like someone else who has gone through a lot of life experience due to her work! I really enjoy her stuff as I can identify with it from my past being a former "wine advisor" for a company, reserve soldier, snowboard instructor/ slope guide and mountain guide. It's great to see more life experienced people on the show 😀

The reason some of the dialogue was choppy or they'd say words twice is because it's fully mental, they're speaking through thought so sometimes there will be some words that get diced or repeated.

I mean, if the fall guy refused, they would do worse than kill him. It is Arasaka. You don't screw over Arasaka. They told him to go go die, and he went because if he refused he would get a fate worse than death and Arasaka would bury his family too. And there is nowhere in the world you can run to either.
