Thanks for this video. I am new to CNC but know enough about 3D printing. I built my own CNC, a Lowrider V2 via 3D printing, but knew little else about CNC. Thanks to your videos my projects are now starting to work. Thanks again.

Great video! I’m a new CNC’r on the 1F & the homing & zeroing definitely tripped me up causing me to ruin my first spoil board before I ever carved anything. It also frustrated me because the “over/under” errors I was getting didn’t make sense to me. Luckily the forum helped out!

Thanks DaWayne - it certainly can be confusing. At least the latest firmware (1.0.9) changed the language a little bit to help, but it is still far from perfect. Thanks for watching!

Great video! I really enjoyed your energy. I’ve seen a good number of your videos and this one felt like a nice conversation with someone that’s into the same stuff that I’m into. Thanks so much, keep it up!

I like the videos you make but one, the review on the onefinity qcw frame. you didnt mention the spindle wont reach 9 inches of the work area in the rear and is off center by 4.5 inches front to back. big design fault

Thanks Brian. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the 9" in the rear? Yes the frame is short, but the OF spindle can't get there anyway since it is facing forward. Maybe I misunderstand your comment?

Pro tip: don't zero your machine on your work piece, create a grid in your CAD and have it routed onto your waste board. Start all projects using this grid file as a background now you can run multiple projects and multiple boards at the same time.
