commendable initiative. what I observed here is that there's a lag on part of the operator too. The message that a customer sends with his e mail id on it should be thoroughly checked with such a system that is able to read whether or not the customer has sent his email id only and not someone else's. But again, I don't know how the system works but what I mentioned is doable and can easily reduce the occurrence of the time.

Actually there are several steps. First of all email ID sent on the SMS must be registered with the mobile operator or the request will be denied. So sending any other email from the scammer won’t work. Then you have to reply confirming eSIM request. Then you get a call on your phone to confirm this. Then you get emails and have to scan the QR code. After the swap, SMS services are suspended for 24 hours. So this is not as easy as the video shows. In addition even if the scammer gets your eSIM, they won’t know which banks you bank with and the account numbers or your passwords. So it won’t be easy for them to login as you and do transactions. Most likely this happens with screen sharing or installation of some spy app.
