Fun Fact: This toy was remolded into Optimus Primal and it actually made sense. Crumplezone had ape-like proportions and, Optimus Primal transforms into a gorilla. Crumplezone's cannons also look similar to Primal's shoulder blasters. Optimus Primal is one of the better toys in the Botcon Dawn of Future's Past boxset. But, why use the Clocker mold for Cheetor and Tigatron tho? Wouldn't it have made more sense if Cheetor was based on the Cybertron Hot Shot mold and Tigatron is based on the Cybertron Defense Hot Shot mold? And, both toys still would've had remolded heads. The only problem is that Cybertron Defense Hot Shot doesn't come with a gun and Tiagtron is supposed to have a plasma blaster in the show itself. It's the same problem with Springer and Roadbuster. Both characters are supposed to have rifles. But, neither one of these repaints come with any. Except, Springer has a bigger problem, because he's a triple changer. Clocker doesn't look much like a Cheetor, what's the connection? Why use Clocker instead one of the Hot Shot molds? Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? Kinda like when they used a Machine Wars Skywarp mold for Waspinator.

Reasonably certain that bronze spot on his face isn't intentional, I have the Galaxy Force version admittedly, but the paint job looks identical to the Hasbro one except for the faction symbol (none of the Japanese versions from planets other than Cybertron had them) and the spot on the head. Also, I love Cybertron/Galaxy Force, to this day my favorite line (although it could be a Doctor Who thing, it was my first line when I got back into Transformers).

What you said this would have been a weird repaint for starscream I had a very interesting thought of like one botcon thing they could have done if they have the budget to do that type of remolding where they take a bunch of Cybertron toys and if we mold their cyber key gimmicks into minicon Port gimmicks since there were a few Armada toys that were repackaged and reloaded to fit cyber key gimmicks have it come full circle
