Holy cow, this toy is pretty good-looking. The Cyberkey (or however you spell it) gimmick is pretty cool (and really works) and the paint, colors, and molded detail are all great (except for the legs).

This works much better for Long rack than it did for Dinobot. They only reason they used this mold for him is because the original head already had a strong resemblance to him but I kind of wish they took that head and put it on a different body. As Long rack the body actually works for him.

Even though this is basically just you forgetting that you had already reviewed this mold, I just wanted to say that I, and I think others would enjoy seeing a few more repaints on the series. Sometimes a new coat of paint (I know it's not literally just paint) can really change a figure

Watching this made me realize that while I enjoyed Cyberkeys... I still can't tell if it was a good idea or not. I mean if this was a video game, this kind of thing would be a cool way to handle in game power ups. As physical toys, these are just on/off switches for gimmicks. Sometimes that makes the gimmick better, sometimes not. Often it was completely neutral. I don't think a Cyberkey every really saved a toy gimmick, and if it ruined it then odds are they would have botched another alternate switch. Of course, I have another bias; I love Minicons! However as you pointed out Armada was not so well engineered. The worst Cyberkey gimmicks I handled personally didn't leave me worried I was going to snap some delicate peg-in-peg like with the Minicons. ^^' Oh and about this being a cool gimmick... I dunno. I mean punching action is simple but fun... but it looks like it affects the general crane arm set up. I mean if it was *just* a crane arm, we wouldn't have needed that weird thick level/button bit, and maybe not as many structures around the shovel.
